There's something so whimsical about snapdragons. I still remember when I was little making them talk. Now I'm showing my kids how to do it. I painted this collection when I was coming out of the trenches from my son's burn accident and was overwhelmed by the number of people who leaned in to hold us up. You'd think that the snap dragon would tumble right over, instead they build off of each other, reaching to Heaven.
